It's rumoured that Venom 2 will be released this October. I thought it might be fun to do something in the lead up. Please tell me what you'd prefer in the poll below.

What a great idea! It sounds like the prompt post would work for that, and maybe the Big Bang too, if you're up for a more formal thing.

I'm going to need a better source of images than just googling them though. (You end up with the same handful of publicity shots.) I need to get my hands on a digital copy of the film so I can make screengrabs.

Do you have the DVD? If so, VLC will take good screencaps. That's what I use and it works well.

I've hesitated over what else to say in reply, as I have a copy, but I can't easily share it, as it's in a form I've created for vidding. It's e-nooooor-mous, and no file sharing service I have access to would take it. I could maybe clip a scene you need, though, and it might not be too big to share. Maybe. That said, I have done some processing on it, so it wouldn't look exactly like the DVD version. Cleaned it, brightened it, squared the pixels and stripped the audio and so on. I suspect it would be much easier for you to just buy the DVD.
