The deadline is midnight, 6 July, and the works will be opened on the 7th for World Chocolate Day (although I’m not sure what time, as I’m travelling unexpectedly this week).

Select one of the prompts, claim it, and then fill it.

Hi all,

I hope you're having a good weekend. Just a quick reminder that the Venomtime's day community is open now for posting. To post you need to claim a prompt, but there are a couple of generic ones you can use for this purpose, in addition to the specific ones people have left. Just go into the Prompts area, Claim one, and you can post your work.

The official deadline for posting your work is midnight on the 13 Feb, UTC. There will be a grace period between that deadline and when I open up, so if you're running a little late you can still post after midnight on the 13th and be included.

Hi all,

I've been wrapped up in Festivids, and so forgot to make a final reminder before the 5th. Because of that, I'm allowing prompts to be posted for another 24 hours, and then I'll close up that part of the fest, and open the Collection up to posting.

You need to "sign-up" to add prompts and make claims, but you will not be matched with anyone or required to make a gift if you sign up. You can still make a claim after the prompt deadline has passed.

You can post to the collection without signing up or making a claim once the sign up period is over.

Create any type of fan work (meta, fic, vids, art, cosplay, playlist, etc) as long as it focuses on characters from the films or comics, and post it to this collection on the AO3 by midnight GMT on 13th February. Your post will be hidden until the 14th February and opened up on Valentine's Day.

There are 10 days left to leave a prompt on the Venomtime's Day AO3 community, or as a comment on this post.

You can leave up to 5 prompts. You don't have to make anything if you leave a prompt, but you're encouraged to do so. Anonymous prompts are allowed, or you can put your name on them. You can still submit a work to the Venomtime's AO3 community without filling a specific prompt.

Any type of fanwork is welcome. Prompts in both Venom comics and movie-verse are allowed.

Hi all,

Just a quick update. I'm planning to open the Venomtime's fest at dinner time tomorrow, rather than in the morning as I originally planned. This is because I've had a few things going on in real life, and need the extra time to get all my ducks in a row.

The upside is, you have about 28 to 30 hours to finish off any final things you're working on. :)

If you'd like to celebrate Symbrock on Valentine's Day, the deadline to submit a fest entry is midnight 13 February GMT.

Any kind of fanwork is welcome (fic, meta, playlist, art, vids, rec set, etc), as long as it focuses on Venom and/or Eddie from the movie or comics.

If you've been beavering away on your Symbrock Bingo prompts, you have until 3 February to post them, and then I'll be wrapping up the challenge.

If you don't yet have a Bingo card and want to make three flashworks over the next few days, you can get a card from the instruction post. There is a prize of 5 paid icon slots for a year for the first person getting a bingo by the 3rd February.

You can carry any WIPs over when we next play if you want to -- I'll probably do another bingo round in the second-half of the year. You can also just post them whenever you finish, but obviously you won't win a prize if it's not posted officially as part of one of the challenges. You'll still get the satisfaction of finishing a bingo, though. :)
